Once again…

Once again I’ve been neglecting this site. I really need to stop using the sites that I loathe such as facebook. I just find that its easier to post simple crap there, and be done with it. When I post here I feel I need to write some article, and I’ve been so brain dead lately that I cant really think anything to write. I know that I need to start doing so though.

I’ve really just been messing around, not doing much at all. I’m desperately waiting for Battlefield 3 to be released, ha can’t wait. The game looks so awesome.

I’ve also been doing some minor work on Xello.com, but since I’m so brain dead anymore I can’t ever think of a site subject. I really just want to keep the forum alive, but meh. I’ll think of something. But if you do like to chat, hang out, and have fun on forums… Xello is a great place!

I’ve downloaded the Windows 8 developer release, and I must say its SUPER HORRIBLE. Man the Metro UI is so ugly. I don’t know what Microsoft is thinking. It’s like a 20 year step back in UI graphical development. I think it may be cool on a tablet or a phone, but it really doesn’t work as a desktop OS/UI, it’s hard to use, and just meh! Nothing intuitive about it. I’m actually scared about the future of computing. I like sitting at a real computer with a keyboard and a mouse, using a real operating system. Sure tablets and phones are okay for being mobile, and doing minor stuff, but they aren’t REAL computers, and you can’t do real work on them. I really hope Microsoft changes their mind about all that.

They should’ve made two versions: One that keeps the traditional Windows UI for use on desktops and real computers, and the other for Mobile devices. Not screw over their core base for some future post-pc era and users that hasn’t happened yet. Maybe Ipad’s do sell a lot, but so do PC’s. and people still want a real computer. but blah!

I bet Windows 8 will have the reputation that Windows ME and Vista had if not worse.

But I guess its all cool. I need to stop being on the computer so much anyways. Something needs to change to put me back out into the real world again. ha. In all honestly, computing has been so boring the past few years anyways.

In a couple of weeks the new season of House starts! I really can’t wait! Will be interesting to see how he does in Prison .
In the mean time I’ve been catching up on all the past episodes. It’s fun to watch all the episodes consecutively.
I’m excited about the new seasons of Dirty Jobs, Mythbusters, and Dexter as well.

I think Mythbusters will probably end or be cancelled soon, or at least it needs to be. The myths they test now are just silly, and they do a lot of revisits of myths they’ve already tested. It’s just not all that interesting anymore, and you can tell that everyone on screen is bored of the show now by how scripted their chats seem to be now. but the crew is still awesome and they should do another show together.
