I’m still alive. I just havent written in a long while because I have obsoletely nothing to talk about! I come up with ideas of random stuff to talk about every now and then, but meh, I never feel like actually writing.

Nothing much has happened in life since I last wrote, started another job at a shitty place I worked at before. Actually isnt that bad this time since im keeping everything on the low, and its at night so way less bullshit
WOOT! Something awesome that has happened since I last wrote is the release of the latest by Marilyn Manson.
Last week I believe, he released his album “Born Villain”, and it has a few awesome songs, such as the cover of an older song called “You’re so Vain”, which I love. The credits say Johnny Depp is a part of it, but he must be playing the flute or something in the background, because no one would have known if it werent for the credit stating such.

The album has some other great songs as well. None that can match “Running To The Edge Of The World” which he released on his last album, and is my favorite song, but still pretty good.

I haven’t written in a while. Not much going on to talk about. But it’s been over a month that I’ve written something on here and I gotta add something fresh to the site, so what to talk about…?
This is an okay song by Blue October. It’s been in my head a lot lately. Was even in my dream the other night which was weird.

I need to quit doing anything on facebook. Takes me away from this site. I actually never really use facebook, I just get on sometimes to see what people are doing. I never played any games or anything on there.
Speaking of Facebook, I’ve been messing with Google+. To be honest I think it’s a huge boring let down. A lot of people I don’t know some how can add me. The site over all is just confusing. they say its facebook+twitter, but I don’t see it. Maybe the way it lets you follow certain people by putting them in groups? I always thought the facebook activity wall was already like twitter, but again, I rarely ever used twitter. Sometimes I’d randomly go to the site to read someone’s twitter wall thing, and had no idea what I was looking at. was always random like “@fishlover yes I like cheetos, but gold fish snacks r way better!” like what the hell?
I’ve been selling most of my sites again. I got rid of the MJHQ site for the final time. this time I’ve only sold the domain. I bought it back last year so I’d have legit use of the forum database, which I merged with Xello, so that’s all cool.
I’m trying to see some other domains if anyone is interested. I’m really not into the entire website making thing right now. I like messing with my own site here and there, but I dunno, I guess I’m just getting really old.
Domains I have that I’d be willing to sell are: ThenYouDie.com, rejx.com, wow I thought I had more than that. I have own probably 6 domains in total now, which isnt too much. I used to own much more. Mostly just bought and resold them though.
I need to start blogging about issues and stuff, ha but I hate forcing my opinion out there. But that’s the point of blogging. Then again I didn’t make this site to blog about what I think. I just created this site for the hell of it, but the point of the site is about me, so I dunno why I’m so weird. There isn’t a point to having a site if you aren’t going to write up stuff that people will read. So I dunno what I’m doing, but blah!

Ditched last.fm, Zune Software is awesome!
I’ve been debating whether or not to ditch my last.fm account or keep it. It’s cool to track all the music you listen to, and share it with others, But I found myself not listening to some music so others wouldn’t see it, or over playing to a certain song or artist just so that it would show higher in my ratings. Which makes the information on there pretty much useless and false due to me forcing spamming it. Also I ended up being weird and obsessed with scrobbing the music I listened. So I didn’t want to listen to any song if it couldn’t be logged on my account, which was kinda weird.
I also love the native iPod app on my iPhone, which doesn’t scrobble to last.fm. There are third party apps that you can download that do it, but they aren’t as cool, and have huge ugly ads.
I found the software I use to play my media on the computer to be limited. I LOVE the Zune software. I think it’s the best and most visually appealing media player for the computer. But there is not a plugin for it that lets you scrob to last.fm. There are tweaks and hacks that you can get that’ll do it, but its not seamless, and very buggy.
Yesterday morning I decided to just hit the delete button on my last.fm, and erase it all. Over 13k plays erased! But I’m happy. I feel free and liberated, ha.
I suppose I looked at last.fm the wrong way. Maybe it’s just a tool to find better music, I don’t know, but I got tired of my obsession.
Now I’m using the Zune Software full time and LOVE it! I find new things the more and more I use it. No I don’t own a Zune player or an Windows Phone 7 which most people have to use Zune player for (I am happy iPhone user, but i’m force to use the dreadful and horrible iTunes crapware to sync to it 
).
Even without the a Zune device, the software is still a stand alone media player, and it is so beautiful and visually stunning. It also plays back all my media without a hiccup.
I’m not writing a review, just giving everyone a heads up to this awesome piece of work.

When you load the Zune software for the very first time, it lets you choose 3 of your favorite artists. For mine i selected Michael Jackson, Marilyn Manson, and Green Day. I think this just pins them to the quick play screen as you see in the above screenshot. This helps by providing you with the latest news and music on them. I haven’t really messed with the Zune online music. I just play my local media (mp3 and such), so I’m not sure how good all that is.
As you see in the above screenshot, it shows you the latest media on your pc, this includes pictures, movies, and music. As you can see it shows also my recent history. Yes for some reason i was just listening to a 98 degrees song.
What you can also see is that the software tracks your plays to the online Zune service. Which i think others can see on your profile. This is kinda like last.fm, but I’m not really using this feature. It’s there, but I’m not thinking about it, and wont ever even mess with it.
If you don’t want to see the Quick play screen, you can tell the Zune software to open up to your collections on start up.
It also calls your 3 artist as "pins". I’m not sure if you can manually add more "pins" if you choose.

A cool thing about this software is that it also searched the Zune Market place, and lets you Demo songs. I personally don’t like this feature most of the time because i simply want to listen to my local music, and when i search for a song it shows both the music in my collection in one column, and then from the market place in the second. You can drag the window on the Market place results to make it smaller. So far I haven’t found a way to disable the market place.
If you want to play music while you throw a party, or do something off your pc, you make the player full screen, and it shows info related to that artist on the screen. It displays random HD pictures of the artists, text related to the artists, including facts, and track names, and some bio info. The colors are beautiful as well, and change often. As you can see in the above picture, there is a light spot at the top, which was slowly moving lighting up different areas of the screen. The text and pictures slowly scroll/float, and its really beautiful how its done. 
If you want to do other stuff on your pc while you listen to music, you can switch the player to mini mode, which stays on top of all your apps, so you can easily change song without leaving the the stuff that you’re currently doing on the computer. It’s small and takes up barely any room. It looks like one of those shiny cool widgets some people get and place on their desktop.
This program is just really cool! I haven’t used it much to play movies, and other video files, so I’m not sure if it has cool special effects for those as well, and im still exploring the program. Like i said, i find new stuff with it every time that i use it.
I just wanted to give a shout out to other music lovers. and let them know about this amazing program if they haven’t used it already.

Loving my iPhone!
I’ve been wanting an iPhone for years, but being with Verizon meant that I couldn’t get one, unless I left them and went to at&t. I never wanted to switch carriers so I stuck with it.
I wanted an iPhone because of my previous ownership of an iPod Touch, which was the most amazing device I’ve ever owned! So having the iPhone would be even cooler, and a much better deal since I can have my music player, phone, camera, etc all in one.
In 2009 I got the Droid, which I thought was going to be a good alternative. First thing I realized when I got the Droid is that the Android OS is no where close to being like iOS, which is beautiful and polished.
Android didn’t have a decent media player, no equalizer (which is a must have), and the over all feel of the OS was just cheap and half assed made. It really reminded me of the Linux Distros on PC. How cheap and just lame they seem to be (hard to get to work, have to hack it, hard to find quality programs), and just pointless when you can just use Windows. I must admit though that I have found it fun in the past to install a linux distro and have fun getting it to work, but using it full time never crossed my mind, because I’m always wanting to go back to windows when I do that.
Also Android lacked many quality apps. The android market is spammed with tons of apps, but most of them are useless, and very pointless, and blatant copies/rip offs of other people’s work and apps.
The Droid hardware itself was awesome though. It was the first droid, and it was Very solid. Which always impressed me. I’ve dropped that phone many times, and it never had a problem, or received dents, NOTHING. Loved that aspect of it.
The droid wasn’t a horrible device over all, android wasn’t THAT bad. It’ was better than the alternative on verizon at the time, such as blackberry, and the other cheap phones, So I did love it. But my experience with iOS was much better, and I still longed for the iPhone, mostly because it was beautiful, and simply worked. I didn’t have to go find alternative apps in iOS to for the device to be usable, as I did with Android. iOS had a lot of what I needed built in.
Anyways skip a year or so later. Verizon finally got the iPhone in February 2011, I was super happy, but at the time I was debating whether or not to keep my contract going, or to just let it end, and move on to cheaper offers (such as $50 unlimited pre paid phones).
People also keep rumoring that the iPhone 5 is about to come out, so I shouldn’t go with the iPhone 4, but these are simply silly rumors. Some sites say that it won’t come out til 2012, and so on, so who knows. iPhone 4 is very usable. I could upgrade for only a few hundred, so why not? If the iPhone 5 does come out, I can easily sell the iPhone and use the money to help pay for the 5 if it was really much of an upgrade.
In the past month my Droid started acting up. It would keep clicking stuff on its own, moving things around, and opening stuff. Like it was alive.
It kept doing this over the weeks and seemed to get worse, and worse, and worse. Until I had enough and threw it on my bed and smashed it with my shoe, ha. I really didn’t feel that bad afterwards even though I had done it in a fit of rage.
I was so done with that phone, so done with Android. So done with the short battery life (phone would only last a couple hours of use ahh!) and was so happy that it was all finally over. 
So fast forward another week or two I decided to go ahead renew my contract and get the iPhone.
Verizon provided free Over Night shipping via fedex, so I got it the next day (which was yesterday), and so far I am so inlove with it. I got the beautiful music player back, everything works on its own, not sluggishness or lag, I just love it.
Most of the apps that I used on Android were also available for iOS, and it’s weird because they do look much better on the iOS. I hear that apple has guidelines about apps needing to be attractive, but im not too sure about that.
I am having trouble getting the contacts and everything to work right. Android only seemed to import contacts with phone numbers to my contract list on it. iOS on the other hand wants to put everything on my contact list, so I have like 1000+ contacts that it imported from my various email accounts (mostly my windows live), and doesn’t separate them from ones with numbers, which is odd. Also it lets me text contacts that don’t even have sms numbers. So I dunno, Maybe there is a way, I’ll figure it out. I think maybe that I’ll just delete the entire contact list, and disable the sync, and manually add contacts and numbers myself. Seems like the best solution, but then again I wouldn’t be able easily contact via email the contacts who only use email, so I don’t know, ha.
I was happy to get my Simcity back! But annoyed at the same time! Back when I had my iPod touch (did I mention that I sold it to help cover the cost of the Android? big waste). I had bought the SimCity game app from the store. it was $10, and it was pretty cool.
So when I got my iPhone I went to searching for it on the market to download it, and it no longer exists!
EA Games seems to have gotten rid of it, and made a new version called SimCity Deluxe, which is total bullshit. They only want 99cent for the new version, but still.
I was able to find the old file for Simcity on my hard drive, so luckily I still had it and was able to put it on my iPhone, It’s just annoying how a $10 app that was created by a large company, can be deleted from the store, and replaced with another version that costs more money. The new version is only 99cents, so its not too bad, just annoying. I’d be pretty pissed if I wasn’t able to find the SimCity file on my pc. Even if it is old, we should still be able to download it from the market for years. $10 isn’t cheap for an app 
I’ve been playing with the camera on the iPhone. It’s only 5 megapixel, which is the same as my droid, but it has some nice features such as the HDR. It can take some very beautiful pictures! I love it as well. Also the camera is very smooth, and quick. My droid would take ages to turn the camera on, and then ages to take a picture.

Worst thing about the iPhone: YOU HAVE TO USE ITUNES!
I think itunes is the worst program ever created. It’s ugly, works weird, is always freezing up, and AHH! I just hate using it. But it’s a must if you want an ipod or iPhone. Sadly.
I need to end this post, but I wanted to mention something else that is a let down with iOS. On Android I could easily install a last.fm scrobble plugin that worked with any player on the device including the stock media player (which was shit). This would allow me to scrobble all of the songs that I listened to to my last.fm profile. I’m finding it a bit more complicated on the iPhone.
Last.fm does have an app that lets you listen to their stations, and listen to your library on there, but it’s not the same. I want to be able to listen to songs in my library, and have them scrobbled. I found an app called iScrob which replaces the default iOs player with its own, and seems to work great, but I really want to use the stock player in iOS. It’s just too damn beautiful to not, and it works flawlessly. So I don’t know.
It might not be a major problem for a while because I have been debating whether or not to just delete my last.fm account. I’ve been getting way too silly with it. I never want to listen to music unless it’ll be scrobbled to my account, which is just lame, and weird, ha. so I might have to just delete it. But then again, last.Fm is a great way to discovery great music.
Anyways, I am leaving a lot out, but also rambling a lot, ha, so I’ll end this post here.
overall I love the iphone. SOO MUCH. It’s way better than any Android device I’ve ever messed with, and it SIMPLY WORKS. I left my phone on all night last night and it didn’t die, and was still about 95% or higher charged this morning. I could never do that with my droid.
So I’m very happy 
By the way, I should mention that I am in NO WAY an Apple fan boy. I really don’t like Apple as a company, I can’t stand OS X, I’ve actually owned a macbook pro, and couldn’t stand iOS (loved the hardware though), and resold it a month after I bought it. I love my windows 
I can’t stand many apple products (itunes, safari, os x, so on, and so on.
For me, the iPhone seems to be the best phone that you can get! and if you don’t need a phone, I’d suggest the iPod touch, which is just as cool.
I’d recommend the iPhone to anyone who is looking for a new phone and debating between the iPhone and android.

I have to say I love it and can listen to it over and over again without getting bored or tired of it. As you can tell from my last.fm profile 
I don’t think that it was released on an album or anything, so must’ve been something he just did for fun? I dunno, but I like it.

First Guitar!
I finally decided to buy a guitar. I’ve been thinking about doing it for a year or so, and finally went ahead and did it. I got a Fender Acoustic because I hear they are a really good brand, and it seemed to be really good quality, so I went with it. I love it so far. however I have no idea how to play it, ha. I can make noise with it, but no harmony music, or anything like that yet. I didn’t think it would be so hard to learn. I have learned the basics and how a guitar actually works, so all I have to do now is develop a playing a technique and get used to it.
So soon I should be pumping out music on it. 
I have a friend who has been playing Guitar for years that will teach me some. I think I am more of a play by ear person, rather than someone who reads notes and all that type of stuff, so it should be simple. Who knows, but so far it is more complicated then I assumed it would be.
I always say that I need to write more on here, which I do. But I think with my work schedule it makes it a bit more complicated. I work all night and sleep all day it seems anymore. Or I work all night and try to sleep all day, and go through weeks where I just cant sleep, so im too tired to think of anything to write about anyways, but I really do need to start writing more.
I am so happy that the weather in Kansas is finally getting cold. I believe its like 39degrees right now, which is awesome. It’s been super hot here this summer, and its actually for the frist time making me want to move away from kansas. I don’t want to deal with that heat anymore. It was so hot and humid from like june to the end of September, and I hated it so much. it gets super hot here each summer (100s+), but for some reason this summer felt so hot and humid. So I’m really looking forward to it freezing, ha soon I’ll be wishing it was summer again. ha
I’ve been working on a few more site projects. I know that I keep making new sites and selling the,, but I get bored with them very easily. I have Xello.com now, and set up a forum on it, so I may be working on that for a while. I haven’t touched it too much though due to not being very interested ha, but im trying to be.
I don’t know whats wrong with me anymore. I used to be so inlove with this web building stuff, but the past year or so I’ve been BLAH when it comes to it. I guess I just need a new hobby. Tired of the same old crap.
So I’m at work right now. and will be here for at least 6 more hours 
. oh well, its life.

Eminem – Not Afraid
I’m not really into rap music anymore. Every now and then a good song comes along. But i’ve always been a huge fan of Eminem’s. He’s just really unique and very original, and alot of it i can relate to.
It’s been boring in the last few years without him comin out with new raps. His ‘Relapse’ album was really nice. Especially the song ‘Beautiful’. But on most of the album he was using the weird accent, and the album was mostly about murdering people. It missed something.
My cousin asked me earlier this morning if i had heard the new Eminem song and i was like nope, ha. Then he sent me to the youtube link, and instantly like within the first 10 seconds of the song i knew i loved it. It’ll be a hit!
