This song seriously never gets old to me, I love it so much!
It’s “Running To The Edge of the World”, by Marilyn Manson.
I can listen to this song over and over and never get sick of it. And I probably heard it thousands of times in the past year. Love it.
I probably have written about it before.
Anyways, I wanna write about it again and share it, some of you may love it as well:

www.MJGZ.com
Is no secret that I love music. I always write about it, and most of my “About Me” page is about the music I love. ha.
If creating websites is a random weird hobby of mine, I might as well make one about stuff that I love.
I created a very successful Michael Jackson website, and forum. The members of the site created a nice community, and I miss that. The only problem with having a Michael Jackson site is that its really limited to him. of course you can talk about other artists, and whatever, but still the main topic of the site and forum is Michael. I sold that site for good after MJ passed away.
Lately I have been spending a lot of time developing www.MJGZ.com, which stands for Music Junkie – Ground Zero. I want to recreate the community I had on the Michael Jackson site, but with a much wider audience and topics.
I’m still building the site, so many features may not work. The forums do though, so if you would like to help out and join the community, go ahead and visit http://www.mjgz.com/forums/ and sign up.
I think you appreciate the site, and idea if you love music as much as I do, which I know a lot of people do.
I’ll be needing writers, forum moderators, and all that type of stuff. So if you’re interested in volunteering your time to the community, please contact me.
So anyways, that’s what I’ve been up to.
See you there hopefully.

Haha, Every few weeks I make a backup dvd of all my pictures and stuff, and over the years I’ve accumulated A LOT. I have a whole Disc Booklet of them dating back to 2003 and I figured it was about time to redo my backups. So I’ve been taking those back up discs which were dvd5 (4.7gb), and removing all the non-important files off of them, and merging them with other discs to dvd9 (8.5GB), So far I took probably about 40+ discs and merged them into like 5, which is a pretty good deal.
Anyways, I looked over and saw this, and busted up laughing:
.
The foam things are the padding or whatever that comes with a bulk of blank discs. I randomly took them out and put them to the side, which ended up on top of an old disc.
haha.
Anyways, that made me giggle.

I know I said that I’d never do this, but I decided it was just time to let go of damnidunno and move on!
Which was actually hard thing for me to do. damnidunno has been a project or whatever of mine for years now, and has became my baby. hehe, if that makes any sense at all.
I’m sure all my online buddies, or anyone that knows what I do on the computer, has heard of damnidunno. Many of you were probably members of the damnidunno forums before, and are people I probably met on that site. Also I lined to it many times on Josh X, and probably mentioned it several times before in posts. Actually a few years ago this blog was on the damnidunno site itself.
I came up with the name damnidunno probably over 10 years ago while trying to come up with cool screen name for Yahoo! chat (back when it was usable), and I couldn’t come up with one, so I just put “damnidunno” into the box, And it caught on from there.
I created a random funny/weird type site out of it, that was okay and had some members. I really loved the site, and always told everyone that I’d never sell it.
However in the recent years I lost some interest in it, and so did all the members, so I ended up rarely ever touching it.
So I decided rather than keep it for the rest of my life, and let it sit their idle, I’d go ahead and sell it to someone else who can give it a new life, and help it grow.
It was actually kinda hard for me, and I was a bit hesitant to do the final transaction, but in the end I got over it, and knew it was time. Time to move on, and do other things, ha.
To net buddies: I know many of you are gonna look at me funny and say that I shouldn’t have showed it, but so what?!? You never visited it, and I couldn’t ever get any of you to help me with it, so BLAH!! haha
Anyways,, just wanted to update everyone and let them know that im not affiliated with damnidunno anymore…
WOOT!

Listening to: I don’t believe you by P!nk
I really do want to start writing on here more, like I always say, I just really never have anything interesting to write about, ha. I’m trying to change that though.
I’ve been doing a lot of projects lately. Such as Gizoh. I actually bought that domain just to resell it for more, but I decided to keep it for a while and see if I can turn it into something awesome. I am thinking about a Tech related news & review site. I know many of those type of sites exist, but most are dull and lack personality. This one could be really cool, and actually appear to be written by real people, with real emotions, and things like that. So it should be cool,
Oh yeah, as you can see, I changed the josh x a bit. I took away the top two boxes, and replaced it with one, and also put the ice back on the bottom of the page, ha.
hopefully I’ll do something awesome soon, so that I can write about it.
hmm, ha, well I guess that’s it for now.
Wait, hold on, oh yeah!
To webmaster, design people, & jackasses:: I may have written about this before, but I think I should write about it again.
I really don’t care if you do not think that I can code, or create proper websites, or whatever the hell it is you’re talking about. Seriously, I don’t care. I’m not creating my sites for your pleasure, and I’m not even a real web developer, so I could care less, honestly. Personally, I find your sites dull and boring, and maybe I do overuse graphics, and whatever, but I like it,
and so do other cool people, so piss off.
you’re lame for even harassing me over stupid crap to begin with. So stop singing my guestbook, or Instant Messaging me random rude comments about the site and other stupid shit. I honestly don’t care as much as you all do, and apparently, something is wrong with you, and maybe you’re even jealous for bothering me with the shit anyways.
Me writing about this is not an admission that I give a fuck what you say, but rather an admission that you’re annoying the hell out of me period with the comments over lame shit, and I’m tired of deleting the comments, and also tired of receiving the IMs.
I like this quote from an eminem rap called “Words Are Weapons:
”Shady stay creative baby hold your head up, don’t you let up
one bit on these motherfuckin suckers you’re a soldier GET UP
STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN, LONG AS YOU BREATHIN
THEY JEALOUS OF YOU MAN THAT’S THE ONLY REASON THEY BEEFIN!”
ha, sorry to the cool people, had to get that out.

oh yeah, I started hosting my buddy’s blog for him. Check it out:

Josh in Site Updates, Web Journal @ 1:03 am
As you can obviously see, I have updated the sites layout once again.
With the site layout, I’ve also updated my logo, and made it chromie like, ha. Well I call this entire theme Chrome. So far I like it. It’s a bit of a change from the dark creepy red and black stuff, but a good change I suppose. Many people said the bright colors stand out a bit more.
For years I ran a very popular and successful MJ site. I always used the “black n gold” color scheme on it, and loved it very much. Since I sold that site, and wont ever be doing a MJ related site again, I decided I might as well use these colors that I love. So wallah! I like it so far. It’s just weird using the colors for myself after all these years, but I love the style, and its better than letting it die and disappear I guess.
Here is the new updated logo (incase for some reason you cant already see it on the site, ha):
I think it looks cool.
And here is the new layout next to the old (for comparison):
(click thumbnails for larger images)
Old:
New
I still need to edit many of the graphics on the site, and even do some minor code work on some of the pages, so some stuff might not look right, and may even have the old red graphics on it, I’ll get to them.
Hope everyone likes the new change

I wanted to capture some more pictures of Dragonflies. They are such beautifully amazing creatures. I still haven’t replaced that Canon camera I wrote about a week or so ago. It works fine, I just have to always make sure that there aren’t any spots on the sensor, which is done by flicking it, ha. I think because of that my macro auto focus is messed up, which makes it hard to focus on little things up close. I tried and tried to get some good shots.
While observing the dragonflies, I noticed that they actually have a type of wiper that is above their eyes on both sides of their head. It reminded me of a windshield wiper on a car. It would randomly wipe across their their eyes. They have pretty huge eyes as well. I guess it makes sense that they would have those since their eyes are actually so huge! They are really beautiful.
The last picture of one that I posted last week was gold and black. The ones I saw today were light blue and black, and some were green and black.
It was very hard to get them to trust me. I took so many shots, but very few came out decent. I didn’t get the ones that I wanted, or hoped to get though.
(click the thumbnails for the larger pics)

I have no idea what type of bug this is. There were a few of them in the pool, so I saved them. This bug actually had a baby spider on it, and some little nat like bug. The baby spider happily hopped off the weird bug onto me, and I let it climb onto a leaf in a tree.

Oh yeah, and speaking of spiders, I saw this one laying in a flower, waiting for its prey

This grasshopper was looking at me funny, so I had to snap a picture of him.
ha, that’s pretty much it. Photography day I guess

I sold cameras for a few years, and always suggested Canon cameras to the customers. I used to think that they were solid, and returned much better results for the customers. I now think that i was so wrong.
A few months ago I bought a SD780 IS 12-mega pixel Canon camera. I bought it because it was super slim, and took great pictures.
Soon after I bought the camera i noticed spots on the pictures. I knew instantly what this was because I had the same problem with a Sanyo camera that i actually replaced with the Canon.
Some how dust gets inside the camera lens, and onto the sensor, which cannot be cleaned yourself, because there is no way to actually take apart the lens to clean the sensor, and if you attempt to you risk ruing the entire camera.
Having spots, and crap all over my digital pictures really ruined the want for me to even take pictures with the camera.
I was actually shocked that something like this could happen to a Canon camera. I wasn’t around dusty or dirty areas with the camera, and i hadn’t been throwing it around or anything. I’ve been protective of my Cameras since I LOVE taking pictures.
The Sanyo camera had it worse. I mean there were about 10 spots on each picture. I just assumed it was because Sanyo is a cheap discount like brand.
Never even thought I’d have any related issues with the Canon.
So, I immediately returned the camera to the store and exchanged it for another one. I should’ve got a whole different brand, but I just figured that i was unlucky and got a bad camera.
Instantly when i started taking pictures with the brand new replacement, I noticed a spot on the left side of the screen. Luckily this one didn’t show up in the pictures. Maybe it was just a screen defect.
A little bit ago i went out to take pictures, and guess what?!? A big huge piece of dirt on top of the image sensor. AH!
I was able to finally get it off the middle of the picture by flicking the side of the expose lens barrel.
I contacted Canon via email, and they said I can mail them the camera, and they’ll attempt to repair it. Which i think I may do. Usually I don’t bother with that sort of stuff, but i spent a couple hundred dollars on this camera, and Canon owes me a perfectly fine working camera that produces beautiful clear pictures. AHH!
Im just so annoyed and let down.
You can kinda see the spot in this picture. imagine trying to take a picture of a bright blue sky, or anything with a solid color. It shows up clearer in those pictures, which is horrible.
I should’ve took more example pictures, but im too annoyed and pissed at Canon to even touch the camera right now.
Here is a picture taken with the first camera i had gotten, which you can clearly see the spots:
Just watch out for these slim compact Canon Cameras. I can’t imagine that i just got unlucky twice.

I’ve been working on another site of mine (Qeoz) for the past few days. The site like almost all of my websites is very graphical, meaning its very stylish and graphics make up most of it. So the main layout is basically one Photoshop file.
After spending hour and hours working on the design, I some how managed to flatten the Photoshop file (merge all layers, which removes any ability at all to really edit the design), chop half of the image off, and then save over the original, and closed the image, which removes the ability to undo the history. I didn’t notice any of this happen until i reopened the image seconds later.
So then i went through this hectic stage, and some disbelief that i actually had just done that. I could’ve redesigned the layout, and possibly made it a little better, but i had already spent hours and hours on it, and thought it looked good already, I searched all over for the Photoshop temp folder. Sure it creates a temp folder of everything you had open in Photoshop during that session. I couldn’t find any individual temp files for the files i had opened, but i found one huge file called “Photoshop Temp49707814660”, which was almost 400mb in file size.
I figured it’d have all those temp files within it. So i started searching around the web for ways to extract the contents from that, and found absolutely nothing. I don’t know about everyone else, but I think google is crap and gives me alot of random results most of the time.
So that was a no go. I then decided to find way to scan all of the recently deleted files on my computer. I figured this would find the temp files that Photoshop creates sometimes. SO i downloaded a program called “Recover My Files” and begin scanning the hard drives on my computer.
I didn’t find any temp files, but what i found was an actual solid copy the Photoshop file itself, that was saved hours earlier in the day. I was super shocked, happy, and excited!
click image to view full picture
I didn’t know this, but i guess when Windows saves a file, it must delete the older copy of the file, and replace it. Because i hadn’t ever deleted the original Photoshop file, and yet a whole copy of it was deleted, and the program was able to pick it up. Weird. I’m not too sure how that works, but I’m super excited that i got the file back.
So basically i guess I’m posting this so others will know that there is a way to recover files if you had messed up, and saved over the original. The original un messed up file could still be on your system! of course this will only work if you scan for it soon after its deleted, or accidentally saved over, because of the way Windows writes over the deleted data.
I am still so happy that I was able to recover the file. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY.
By the way, if you’re into music, check out my new site at
-site deleted – Also if you were a fan of the old design and feel that I had on the old MJ site i used to one, you will love Qeoz. Continuing that style!
** 6/19/2010 9:23am : removed Qeoz links. Decided to use a different domain. Testing the new layout for use at damnidunno

I just got done watching “From Paris with Love”, and i have to say that John Travolta turned into one badass dude!
He was awesome in Pulp Fiction, but the last two movies I’ve seen him in were great, he turned into one bad ass motha fucka! – Which were “The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3”, and the one i just mentioned. He really takes it to another level. Who would’ve thought that the guy dancing on Saturday Night Fever, and Urban Cowboy would turn into what he was in these last two movies.
love it! I suggest anyone go see both of these movies if you haven’t already. Must see!
